Classroom Management

Through a series of field placement journals and firsthand experiences, I reflected on students’ behavior, interactions, and the overall demographic. I noted the key takeaways from my observations, which is essential for implementing these ideas and goals into my classroom. Using this data, I created a classroom management plan that includes important information like: rules and consequences, classroom layouts, and procedures. It is important to plan these elements of a classroom ahead of time so that students know that you are prepared to teach, which allows them to be prepared to learn. This classroom management plan is what I intend to use as I begin teaching.
